If you are using a device which is compatible with Windows or that can run html files and allows you to set up the directory structure, then copy the LJC-Apple directory onto your device.  These directories use 'relative addressing' and it is important that the file structure of these two directories are not changed.  After completing the copy, create a shortcut to Bible/index.html and another to LJCKJV/index.html on your desktop.  These shortcuts will allow you to access the two sites on your local computer without having to go to the internet.

If you are using a Kindle compatible device (such as devices from Apple with the Kindle App), move the files from the Kindle directory onto your device and point the Kindle App to the loaded files.  (Contact your Apple tech for further help.)

If you are using any other type of device which can display PDF files, such as a phone, copy the PDF files from the PDF directory onto your device then select the loaded page called _StartHere.PDF.

Getting Updates:

If you use a browser to access http://ljc1611kjv.com/LJC, you should see a list of directories like those below.  If you double-click on a directory name, you will get to another directory.  You can double-click on directory names until you see file names.  At that point, right-click and do a "save as" for any file that you want an update for.  All of the files that are on the DVD (or USB) that you were given are available from these directories.  Be sure to download files into the directories that they were initially loaded on your computer/USB or the "relative addressing" will not work.  The HTML_Format_File/*.html have "relative addresses" while the regular web site has "absolute addresses".  The "relative addresses" allow links to work while you are not connected to the internet.

The exception is that the HTML_Format_File/index.html is named index.txt so that you can do a download instead of getting web pages.  Once index.txt is downloaded to your computer, rename it to index.html so that it will run properly on your computer.
